During our interview about Godus, Peter Molyneux revealed more information on how you'll be able to earn money from the game in the future.As you might know, 18-year-old Bryan Henderson from Edinburgh won Molyneux's Curiosity competition. This granted him the role of god in Godus.Despite the game being released, Molyneux says that Henderson hasn't actually had a chance to play god in the game yet.Pray to meIn fact, Molyneux revealed that he won't be doing anything until the multiplayer part of Godus is rolled out.When it does, Henderson will be tasked with "breaking ties" on a regular basis."There's a feature that we haven't rolled out yet called commandments where your followers will come and ask you for your guidance on something," Molyneux said."A classic example of this: should women stay at home and look after the family, or should it be down to men, or should it be equally shared?"When you make that decision you'll see what percentage of players chose each decision and if there's a clear majority that becomes the default behaviour through everyone's worlds. Unless you override it as a god."Now if there's a tie that's what the god of gods, Bryan, breaks. So each week we'll present him with 'there's been these commandments and there are these ties, what decision will you make?'"Stand downMolyneux says that Henderson's reign as god will last for about six months after the multiplayer is introduced to Godus.After that time, communities in the game will be able to challenge Henderson and overthrow him for the role of god of gods.Either Henderson will remain and keep earning the thousands he makes from the sales of Godus, or someone else will. That could be you if you manage to overthrow him.
